What's Been In The News This Week...

New Zealand police are spending $20.7 million on body armour. It is more comfortable and lighter.  

Facts: The armour would stop most rifle rounds 
Each set cost $1300 and they will be issued over the next three years. 

 I think it's a good idea but 20.7 million is a lot  of money.

    Well done on reporting your news item. You have included the key facts and your opinion that is great. I do agree with you that 20.5 million dollars is a lot of money. Some children in our class believe that this is too much to spend when we have families in New Zealand with no homes and struggling for food. What are your thoughts on this?

    Well Done on reporting about what has been on the news.
    I do agree that 20.7 million Dollars is alot of money but it is worth it don't you think? If new zeland needs the police to be safe and potected they need to spend all the money they have to because they need to be protected. I think you should write more about this because what if the police that are in that image sees it? Would you wnt them to just read that?
