mum Description writing

This week in literacy we have been describing a family member. I chose to describe my mum. Here is my writing.

My WALT was to use FANBOYS to extend my sentences.

Mum has blonde long hair

 because she dyed it otherwise it would be black. I like it blonde because it has more colour. She has a beautiful face with big brown eyes. She is very small and I am nearly as tall as her.

My favourite memory with mum is when we go on trips like when we went to Wellington.  I loved it because she took us to three museums. I saw a lot of new things. Mum spends lots of time with us when we go on trips.

Mums personality is funny  because it is the way she says things.  When she is not mad she makes things into a joke.She gets mad when I fight with Lushun and Zyah.

My Mum’s favourite things are a sleep in, she like to go on big walks, and she loves to have a happy mother's day.  I make her biscuits and a cup of tea in bed. She then gives me a hug and a sloppy kiss but I wipe that off.

I Love my mum.

Reflections literacy Term 4

This is my DLO i had to write 3 facts about the book and i had to put in 3 images i enjoy the characters because they were funny. next time i would put a images of a picture of the front cover of the book    

Reflections Week 8 Term 3

I had to use a google drawing to share 5 facts, 5 pictures and a video link to create a DLO.  I enjoyed finding facts becuase I like finding out new things about things, it is fun.  Next time I would make my fonts a bit bigger so they are easier to see.

Writing reflection week 6 Term 3

The porpoise of this is that I had to write a explanation of a  Life cycle of a frog.  I think I did well will following the structure of an explanation.  I need to work on writing a strong conclusion.  

Reflections Literacy Week 6 TErm 3

I found it easy to work with other people when finding ideas. The purpose of this activity was to write 5 reasons why we think people explore with out using google.  I am proud of how we worked as a group.
