Wishtree Novel Study

This term we were reading a novel the wish tree and it was about racism and being kind to people from different cultures.  This is my new book cover for this book.  I think you should read this book. 

Legend of Poutini

This map shows the journey of Poutini around New Zealand.  Poutini was a taniwha.  He stole a lady called Waitaiki from the North Island and fled down around New Zealand with her.  When he got to the Arahura River on the West Coast he was afraid that Tamaahua would catch up with him and get Waitaiki back so he turned Waitaiki into pounamu and laid her in the river. That is why Waitaiki is known as the mother of pounamu.

Hello, this week in maths we have been learning how to make graphs from a google spreadsheet.

This graph shows what I have blogged about this term . It shows that I have blogged most about literacy and I have not blogged at all about maths.

My second graph shows the tools I used. I mostly  used drawing photos/writing. This shows me maybe I need to try something new.  What do you think I should try next?
