WALT: Understand and explain scientific language related to Thermal Pools.

WALT: Understand and explain scientific language related to Thermal Pools
Kia ora! In the last two weeks we have been working on Hanmer Spring's because we went on camp there.  For this activity we had to pick a word, define it and write how it relates to Hanmer. I picked this word because I was interested in finding out what the earth's core could possibly have to do with Hanmer.

Camp Reflection

Last week we went on camp to Fox Glacier

My favourite part was when we went to see the glowworms. They were so cool. I liked when you got to see a whole wall of them and they were so bright.

Spotlight was so fun. I hid on the field I did not get found once. It was very scary when they got close to me so I turned my torch off so they don't see me so I wasn't in.

Going to see the glacier-
When we went to see the glacier we did a really hard walk to get there because it was a big walk. The glacier was light blue and up the top was dark blue and it was big when you get further away from it and when you were close to it it looked small.

Geocaching-
After we got back from the glacier walk we went goecaching. I came 2nd in 4 of the groups. The one in the bush was the hardest.
