Goals 2019 term 2

This week we were doing goals for term 2 2019.  First we looked at what we had learnt in term 1 and found some work that we were proud of.

Walt: Solve word problems with subtraction.

This week in maths we were doing problem solving.  Here is one of my examples.  I found this question easy to solve because I used my place value strategy.  Next time I will try use a different strategy.

Numeracy Reflection Term 1 Week 10

This is my screencastify for this week. I showed how to solve addition problems like 28 + 11 by making tens. This is an easy way to solve adding problems and you should try it. It was fun to make the screencastify.

For numeracy this week we had to do the Face Place and Total value of four digit numbers. Here is my DLO. This activity was easy because I can read 4 digit numbers easily. Now I need to learn to do this with harder numbers.

This is my numeracy for this week.  We were learning about place value.  It was lots of fun. The hardest part of this activity was having to fit the money in the box.

This is my DLO of my fractions I had to tell what I know about  fractions.  I chose to share this in google slides.  I think I still need to work on recognising fractions.

Reflection Week 8 Term 2

This is my numeracy follow up and we had design a party it was fun.  We were working on financial literacy.

This is my witing but it was  difficult and it was fun.  We had to sort out correct punctuation.

Reflections Week 7 Term 2

For word work we had to do hangman and it was fun learning my words this way.

Before we could finish our book we had to try and think what was going to happen in the book next.  This was tricky.

Reflections Week 6 Term 2

This is my monster and it was really Fun and cool. We were using similies to describe our monster.

In this task I had to retell my story in order.  I took some parts of the book and put them on my petals.



This was using subtraction and we were learning to count backwards from the highest number without using our fingers!  This was a bit tricky for me but with help and practice I got there.

Reflections Week 5 Term 2

 This is our groups literacy we had to write stuff about goats  and other stuff we had learnt from the book that we read this week.

This week we had add not subtract.  I found it a wee bit frustrating but I got through it in the end.
